Position Overview

The Global Sales Education Director is responsible and accountable for the development and execution of Chantecaille's global comprehensive sales training programs. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Global Sales Education Director will be responsible for establishing and executing the sales and education vision, strategy, and plan to deliver high growth in sales while ensuring a globally consistent experience aligned to the brand's luxury standard.

This leader is responsible for the full training budget, with an emphasis on organizational optimization, building partnerships, and driving a high-performing team. Overseeing a global team, this role will require great leadership skills, balancing how to mentor, motivate, and continue building the teams to achieve goals. The ideal candidate is an energetic catalyst for change, equally talented at working with numbers and people, who has demonstrated they can develop strong partnerships externally and internally and nurturing teams in transformational times.

Position Responsibilities

  • Develop the global sales education strategy for the Chantecaille field team aligned with business objectives creating local relevancy where needed.
  • Design the training plan inclusive of in-class & in-store field training sessions, individual coaching to enhance skills, performance & motivation, regarding:
  • Brand knowledge & luxury culture
  • Clienteling / selling soft skills (emotional intelligence and developing/deepening client relationship
  • New Product Launches, Refresher Trainings, upskilling training
  • Create global consistency for the beauty advisor onboarding program as well as ongoing career development.
  • Create and deliver compelling, customized sales and education materials that address core business needs and opportunities for existing and prospective clients.
  • Strategize and ensure excellence in execution and best in class training within all programs and initiatives.
  • Stay current with technology and digital trends within the cosmetic education environment.
  • Establish a strong partnership with Regional Retail leadership to identify coaching to performance needs and strategy for beauty advisors to drive sales.
  • Maintain detailed reporting of all trainings, follow up on participants` training path, monitoring the efficiency of training and achievements while individualizing development action plans
  • Oversee and manage the global training budget according to priorities and needs of the markets.
  • Lead and execute the Mystery Shopper Program to enhance Field Team's service and sales skills level to deliver brand standards and business KPIs.
  • Develop, manage, coach, and motivate a high performing organization.
  • Create a culture of success, mentorship, accountability, and goal achievement.
  • Define roles and responsibilities, optimal team structure, set performance and development goals, motivate, coach and retain team
  • Work with HR on team compensation and bonus incentive plans and recruiting needs.
  • Identify resources needs and develop business cases to support the changes required to support business growth.

Position Qualifications

  • 10+ years in the cosmetics industry with proven field training experience within luxury
  • Excellent communication skills with vast intercultural competences and a collaborative and empathetic mindset; strong public speaker, ability to motivate and inspire audiences
  • Motivated by people development, retail & overall sales-related projects.
  • Self-motivator, driven by impact & performance culture
  • Ability to work autonomously with good organizational skills, capacity to manage several projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Knowledge of Office tools (especially PowerPoint & Excel)
  • Open to travel
