Our client in the supply chain industry is seeking a Global SCM Systems Support Specialist to join their team. As a Global SCM Systems Support Specialist, you will be part of the Supply Chain System Support team based in Midland, TX supporting Ariba and SAP (S/4 HANA) transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and proficiency in time management.   • Prioritize, define scenarios, document, and communicate the findings and recommendations of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in a timely manner to ensure the solution meets the businesses requirements and expectations
  • Monitor, prioritize, and troubleshoot incoming incident tickets assigned to the GSCM Systems Support team and ensure prompt and effective communication throughout the incident lifecycle
  • Identify and prioritize any defects or enhancements that need to be addressed in Ariba and SAP
  • Liaise within SCM, AP, Ops, IT, Ariba/SAP Support, and suppliers to resolve any issues experienced by users and suppliers in Ariba and SAP
  • Act as a control point, enforcing data consistency across Ariba and SAP
  • Serve as the first line of support for end-user queries, issues, and problems related to SAP and Ariba.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions for prompt resolutions.
What's Needed?
  • Bachelor's degree (Supply Chain, IT, or Business Administration preferred) or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to seamlessly collaborate with multiple teams to update, enhance, and troubleshoot configurations to interface effectively and appropriately across functions with various levels of seniority.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal guidance and well adaptable to change.
  • Excellent proficiency in time management and ability to assess and resolve tasks in a timely manner.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to promptly learn new systems, processes, and applications.
