Apple is seeking a Global Sourcing & Supply Manager (GSSM) to assist with strategic planning, long-term deal structuring, and negotiations. This position requires the ability to work with procurement, engineering, finance, and legal teams as well as third-parties such as foundries and suppliers. The position requires strong quantitative and analytical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. The Global Sourcing & Supply Manager is positioned at the interface between Apple's product teams and the industries that supply core technologies. We are responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies as well as recommending product innovations based on improving technology. The Global Sourcing & Supply Management team drives centralized capacity planning for all components used across Apple products and helps drive long-term strategic deals.

Description

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience
• BA/BS degree

• Analytical and critical thinking skills
• Experience working in Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field is a plus
• Ability to operate independently
• Understanding of contract negotiations for both commercial and legal aspects
• Ability to support resolution of complex supply chain issues
• Direct experience in long-term capacity planning a plus
• A tenacity, passion, and demonstrated skill in negotiations
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build, grow, and develop key cross-functional relationships to influence and drive projects
• Ability to make quick decisions and solve complex problems with 80% information

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,900 and $204,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
