Job Description Job Responsibilities & Requirements Job Summary The Global Talent team is a key HR Center of Expertise (CoE) that works to enhance the MiTek Team Member experience through initiatives in hiring, onboarding, learning, leadership development, performance management, career development, and employee engagement. The Global Talent Specialist is a 12-month paid internship with medical benefits included. The role sits within the Global Talent (GT) team and will work closely with and learn from all Global Talent leads in Talent Management and Talent Development. The role will entail managing projects and programs from start to finish, working with matrix teams to keep projects and programs on track, creating collateral and tools, and writing communications for a broad employee base. The individual in this role will also interface with key stakeholders to design and deliver the Global Talent agenda. Key stakeholders include Senior Leaders, HR Business Partners, and MiTek team members globally.
1. Talent Management: - Assist in the execution of core people processes. Includes Performance Management Processes (i.e., performance check-ins, career conversations, year-end performance discussions), Leadership Assessments, and Employee Surveys.
- Develop and deliver training materials and presentations to educate leaders and team members on people processes.
- Manage survey initiatives from start to finish by designing survey content, working with matrix teams to administer the survey, and analyzing and presenting results.
2. Talent Development: - Increase learner engagement by implementing targeted strategies to drive utilization of our learning platforms and usage of internal learning content.
- Support learning initiatives by creating and organizing support materials for both individual contributors and people leaders.
- Develop presentations and communications to clearly convey Learning and Development offerings to stakeholders, including curated learning paths and new programs.
- Curate learning content to build targeted courses on specific topics, aligning with business needs, quarterly learning themes, and learner development goals.
- Assist in training administration tasks such as tracking course completions, managing evaluations, and maintaining accurate learning records.
3. Additional Accountabilities: - Assist in project management ensuring alignment with timelines and stakeholder expectations.
- Measure and track the success of talent initiatives and interventions and make recommendations for future improvements.
- Analyze employee data to deliver insights regarding employee attitudes, behaviors, and performance metrics.
- Research and propose science-based talent solutions.

Position Qualifications - A Bachelor's degree is required; Pursuing a Master's or Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology or in a related field OR recent graduate preferred
- 1 or more years of applied experience in talent management or talent development (internships acceptable)
- Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and statistical software such as SPSS or R
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills
- Capable and motivated to learn new technologies such as learning management systems, training design platforms, and HR information systems
- Capable of building and maintaining collaborative working relationships (i.e., collaborating and bringing people along in the journey)
- Capable of working on a variety of tasks and projects simultaneously
- Motivated to roll up their sleeves as a practitioner and get involved with the work
- Detail and results oriented
- Adaptable and has a flexible work style
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to work by anticipating what comes next and what needs/questions stakeholders will have
