GM Energy - Channel Sales Lead

Remote/Hybrid: This position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. This role is based remotely, but if you live within a 50-mile radius of Atlanta, Austin, Detroit, New York City, or Mountain View, you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum.

Summary of Responsibilities:
Identify, qualify, and recruit key channel sales partners to sell GM Energy Home Energy Management Solutions (HEMS) to residential customers.Support partners to augment GM direct sales efforts with new customer leads.Assess, recruit, and close partner agreements, managing program elements including training, process flows, forecasting, and partner reporting.This position reports to the Head of Utility Sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and qualify top channel partners in the home energy market.Lead partner negotiations to develop operational expectations.Coordinate with legal to finalize and execute partner contracts.Develop go-to-market strategy with channel partners.Train channel partner teams on product features and fulfillment process.Support onboarding channel partners.Build out monthly and quarterly business review meetings.Audit and reconcile data related to partner performance.Coordinate with software to track channel partner leads and customers.Develop new channel programs as appropriate.Key Qualifications:
5+ years experience in the distributed energy resource market.3+ years managing channel partners and/or energy programs.History of hitting or exceeding sales targets.Experience developing and reporting on program performance.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.Required Skills / Experience / Education:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant business, marketing, or technical field.Strong organizational skills with a proven track record of executing complex projects.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong computer software skills, especially Microsoft Office and Salesforce.Travel required 50% of the time.Compensation: The salary range for this role is ($93,400 - $149,200). The actual base salary will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
