GNC Engineer – Defense Systems

Must be clearance eligible – US Citizens only due to the nature of projects (ITAR)

• We are looking for multiple GNC Engineers (Jr to Lead)
• Defense Systems (cUAS, anti-missile)
• Competitive Salary + Package + Equity
• El Segundo, CA – full time, on-site

I'm working with an incredibly exciting Defense Startup, they have set out to revolutionize cUAS/anti-missile space, their first platform is a medium to long-range interceptor platform.

Early-stage, highly-backed startup with something seriously exciting up their sleeve. This is a great opportunity to become part of the next big thing in Defense.

Required Skills:

• 2+ (Jr), 7+ (senior) years of experience in aerospace GNC engineering
• High proficiency in Python
• Proficiency in embedded C/C++
• Experience developing 6-DOF simulations from scratch
• Thorough understanding of GNC, control and estimation theory, and autonomous sensors and integration

Desired:

• Missile GNC, aerodynamics, flight dynamics, and controls
• Experience in radar systems
• Experience in computer vision
