Base Pay Range

$60.00/yr - $70.00/yr

Location: Phoenix, AZ or New York, NY (Hybrid 3 days per week)

Pay Rate: $60-$66.66 an hour on W2

Duration: 9 month contract + possible extensions + possible conversion

Must Haves:

4 to 6 years of overall backend programming experience

At least 2-4 years of overall experience with GO/Golang

Experience designing and developing REST APIs for high volume clients (from scratch)

Experience in application design, software development, and testing, preferably in an Agile environment

Experience working with Git on small to medium sized teams

Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, or Cassandra is a plus

A proven hunger to learn new technologies and translate them into working software

Nice to Have Skills and Experience:

Experience with Kafka

Experience with container and container orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes

Experience working with AWS or GCP cloud infrastructure (plus)

This team develops full-scope customer-centric web applications using modern and emerging technology stacks. We develop and support a key revenue-driving and highly visible microservices-cloud-based platform. To be successful in this role, the engineer should be interested/excited to work with Go/Golang in a cloud/microservices environment.
