GRADE TRACTOR OPERATORS
Rummel Construction is seeking an experienced Grade Tractor Operator. This is a safety sensitive position that is responsible for operating a Gannon with knowledge of hazards and safety precautions along with awareness of cut/fill operations for a variety of projects. You'll be working with scores of experienced operators who put safety first and work together to meet the day's goals. Performance of routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to supervision is required daily.
As a Gannon Tractor Operator with Rummel you'll find yourself operating some of the newest and most well-maintained equipment. Whether you're in a CAT 930, 950, 966 or John Deere 544, 644, 844, you can be certain that it will be well-maintained, clean, and fueled up ready to go. We take pride in providing the newest technology and model options to our skilled operators, recognizing the benefits of staying on top of trends in the industry.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE
* 3 years of experience in the construction industry operating heavy equipment
* Experience in earthmoving and heavy construction with knowledge of cut/fill operations from a variety of projects
* Experience in drainage, landscape grading, and re-establishment with a grade tractor in residential, commercial, and paving environments
* Understand grading stakes and guidelines on ground or positions equipment
