Graduate Assistant - Community Coordinator - Missouri Western State University : Job Details

The Community Coordinator is a Graduate Assistant position for the Spring and Fall semesters. The Community Coordinator reports to and is under the direct supervision of the professional staff member for the building in which they live. The Community Coordinator ensures delivery of essential student services through management of the hall desk operations and indirect supervision of Resident Assistants (RA) and Desk Assistants (DA). Community Coordinators must be in good standing with the university, both academically and through the student conduct code. Essential Duties Assist the housing and residence life professional staff with committee leadership, RA (Resident Assistant) and DA (Desk Assistant) support, policy enforcement, and critical and emergency situation support. Participate in rotation of 24-hour on-call emergency assistance for defined duty responses (facility needs, desk operations, RA questions, etc.) Provide conflict mediation and resources to student resident.
