Rudy School of Nursing & Health Professions is seeking a personable and highly motivated Graduate Assistant to work 20 hours each week primarily assisting with various operations and projects that are specific to the School of Nursing & Health Professions.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assemble student applicant files under the supervision of the Dean and Executive Assistant to the Dean.
  • Input student information into the database systems.
  • Place student applicant files into the correct filing cabinet location.
  • Serve as the back up to the Executive Assistant to the Dean to provide coverage, answering incoming phone calls, directing guests, documenting maintenance needs, etc.
  • Assist with administrative projects.
  • Assist with recruiting events.
  • Serve as a liaison between students and advisors throughout the School.
  • Other duties as assigned at the discretion of the Dean and Executive Assistant to the Dean.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must have a 3.0 or above overall GPA
  • Must be enrolled in a graduate program at Cumberland University
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Must possess a high level of discretion
