Graduate Assistant, Stem Programs

Supervision: Dr. Jim Shulman, Dr. Jay Conner

Job Description: Graduate Assistant for the Graduate Stem Programs

Hours: Required 20 hours a week. Must have flexible hours.

Responsibilities:

* Work closely with Graduate Stem Program Director and others as assigned

* Support Graduate Stem Program projects as assigned

* Prepare documentation for submission of information to STEM Steering Committee

* Assist in analysis of data and reports from Registrar's office

* Run basic data analysis for various programs and assist with assessment measures

* Participate in department meetings and functions

* Assist with preparation and delivery of virtual orientation sessions and residencies each semester

* Support Academic Success Coach with projects and duties as assigned

* Assist with other projects as requested by the Program Director.

Qualifications:

* Must have a Bachelor's degree by May 2024

* Must have a 3.0 or above overall GPA

* Admission (or anticipated admission) into a Cumberland University master's program

* Excellent written and verbal communication

* Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, PPT, Excel, Access)

* Basic data analysis skills preferred

* Two academic and two professional recommendations preferred
