Grain Handler - Performance Food Group Company : Job Details

The Grain Handler is responsible for daily grain operations including but not limited to grain receiving, conditioning, and storage for both outside and plant operations in accordance with the Companys policies and procedures. The position functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company. Position Responsibilities: - Probe grain bins, test production samples, and format corresponding reports to management. - Operate equipment necessary to transfer popcorn from grain bins into the plant. - Complete the necessary paperwork related to incoming material, production inspection, and bills of lading. - Learn and follow production schedule set for fulfilling customer orders. - Maintain supplies for plant operations. - Assist with fumigations of grain bins. - Monitor facility for any food safety, quality issues, or occupational safety concerns. - Maintain safe, clean, and organized work area always. - Follo...Operations, Handler, Manufacturing, Production
