Essential Job Functions/Duties:
* Be thoroughly familiar with the menus, ingredients and methods of preparation for each dish, as well as hours of operation for all food and beverage outlets.
* Collect orders from the kitchen, ensure they have been prepared correctly, promptly and efficiently deliver to the guest's room.
* Ensure orders are delivered accurately and in good condition, check for condiments, requests by guests that is noted on the ticket.
* Communicate any issues or delays that arise and resolve problems efficiently
* Aware of all amenities to ensure they are set-up and delivered on time.
* Consistently deliver courteous and professional service.
* Maintain thorough knowledge of the hotel and room layouts.
* Knowledgeable about the resort and its amenities.
* Knowledgeable about the daily schedules and events at the resort.
* Fulfill all functions as required by management.
* Be aware of all liquor laws as well as company and departmental policies regarding consumption of alcoholic beverages.
* Keep a track of delivery orders, fill out the log
* Make backups of ranch, butter, sour cream.
* Fill the to go area with silverware, souffl cups, to go condiments
* Do daily inventory of paper goods and notify the MOD of items running low.
* Be thoroughly familiar with all standards of proper service etiquette and practice these standards throughout the guests dining experience.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness (personal appearance, equipment and facility) at all times.
* Work well with food and beverage teammates and support departments.
* Keep work area and equipment clean and organized at all times.
* Ensure room service area is clean and organized, and that all equipment is functioning properly, report any problems to the Restaurant Manager.
* Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that enables getting along with guests, co-workers, and management.
* Speak with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
* Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
* Work as a backup personnel to pack takeout orders
* Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
