The Grant Assistant, Title III position is responsible for supporting specific grant funded initiatives. Responsibilities include coordination with Activity Leads, Activity Coordinators, and departmental staff involved in grant related projects. Additional responsibilities include coordination of grant events, drafting presentations and communications, supporting the data collection for annual progress reports and management of the timelines and initiatives for all initiatives funded through the grant.
This position is grant funded with funding available through September 2025.
* Assist with the coordination of assigned grant specific events, steering committee and activity lead meetings.
* In coordination with the Title III grant team, identify and develop a detailed schedule for assigned project components for implementation prior to the project deadline.
* Support the External Evaluator evaluation process and assisted grant related activities.
* Support grant budget utilization and processing for assigned grant related activities.
* Assist the Program Director with organizing and collecting the data needed to draft the Annual Progress Report.
* Complete regular updates on the progress of the project, including but not limited to the Title III Grant Monthly Time and Effort reports.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree required. Masters preferred in organizational leadership, education or related field.
Experience Required:
Required:
* At least one-year experience working independently on projects with specific deadlines and reporting requirements.
Preferred:
* Experience working with professional staff and leadership on grant funded projects, creating timelines for phases of project completion and coordinating work progress in line with deadlines.
* Experience assisting with the creation, implementation and facilitation of initiatives from concept to full implementation.
* Experience working with projects and/or staff who serve college students with a focus on student success and completion.
* Experience with data collection and analysis.
Skills/Abilities /Knowledge /Other Requirements
* Experience with event planning, including but not limited to organizing logistics, securing speakers and budgeting.
* Skilled use of Microsoft office software and the ability to effectively produce materials utilizing computer systems.
* Ability to work with diverse student populations
INSTITUTIONAL EFFECTIVENESS:
Collaborates with department members and/or the Compliance, Assessment and Research team to support planning, assessment, data collection and reporting for continuous improvement of the college.
