Job Summary: The Grant Management Analyst is responsible of the functions related to manage the grant management cycle. This position is accountable of the execution and assessment of the compliance for grants management.This position assists and supports LUMA through all phases of the grant management process. This position will actively assist Director to kickoff and ensure that all grant management deliverables are completed.
Job Description: - Review of the current obligated project worksheet for validation of the eligible scope of work and cost.
- Validation of the submitted procurement, invoice and supporting documentation against the project worksheet scope of work to ensure alignment.
- Research and review relevant regulations and policies that support eligibility or denial.
- Interact with technical team as necessary to discuss concerns or challenges with recommendations.
- Update the grant management system of record with all recommendations, status notes
- Request for information to ensure visibility of RFR/RFA assignments that are in process.
- Keep Program Manager informed on issues, problems & resolutions.
- Collaborate with program leads to identify synergies between grants and other project activities that help the program meet its goals, deliverables, and milestones.
- Track / monitor / report on various deliverables.
- Contribute to the development of annual work plans and translate the work plan to line items in order to develop annual and project budgets for the grants program.
- Develop budgets and budget forecasts for the grants program and monitor budgets on an on-going basis.
- Ensure the grants process complies with all federal and local regulations and LUMA policies, practices, and regulations.
- Monitor financial performance and progress toward grant objectives.
- Ensure complete preparation of all required documentation for accounting and audits.
- Ensure contract policies & practices are followed to; ensure the Company achieves the accepted intent of agreements, have methods to manage change/exceptions and properly protects the Company from failure risks.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Follow all policies and procedures.
- Perform major storm restoration work and associated drills as assigned or needed.
Additional Job Description: REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related area
- 1 year experience in grant management processes preferred
- Superior customer service skill set, ability to listen, facilitate and negotiate problems.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization through various means such as email, phone, video conferencing, and in-person.
- Strong ability to develop and deliver effective presentations and facilitate meetings as related to strategy, training, and collaborating with various stakeholders.
- Excellent, organizational, communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making abilities.
- Work with limited supervision. Excellent time management, organizational and planning skills.
