GRAPHIC ARTIST - Logical Brands : Job Details

Logical Brands is a fast-paced company specializing in toy design and manufacturing within the pet retail space. We pride ourselves on innovation and compelling collections that not only meet buyer expectations but delight customers as well. We are looking for a Graphic Artist to help support thepet business in Nashville, TN. This position will be a key artistic player across multiple categories and will work with company stakeholders across design, sales and marketing.

The graphic artist is responsible for the creative creation side of driving a brand and bringing products to life. We are a small but mighty company where an artist can be tasked with a design, marketing or photography project. The candidate will need to be a creative, meticulous, flexible artist passionate about branding and driving the business in a fast-paced environment. Core request will span across the marketing and design teams and include packaging production, product renderings, product photography, marketing assets, as well as product tech sheets for the creation of prototypes and production samples. Time management skills and attention to detail are a must within the role. Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is required. Photography and photo editing experience is preferred. This is not a remote position and will require physical presence in our Nashville office. Pets are the majority of our customers; therefore, we are surrounded by furry friends in our office. The perfect candidate must be comfortable working with and around dogs!

Skills & Specifications:

• Ability to create innovative visual designs.
• Fluent in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop). Familiar with relevant software, design, and prototyping tools, materials and manufacturing processes.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Comfortable with deadlines and a fast-paced work environment.
• Collaborate with the marketing, design, art and production teams.
• Solid understanding of construction and design.
• Understanding of aesthetic and brand identity.
• Excellent drawing, layout and typography skills.
• Ability to photograph static product and edit photos.
• Ability to demonstrate skill in drawing and illustrating concepts.
• Extensive use of a drawing tablet and computer mouse.
• Must be able to work in a seated or standing position for over 8 hours day.
• Extended viewing of a computer screen.
