ETAS was formed and dedicated to support the Department of Energy (DOE) Portsmouth/Paducah Project Office (PPPO) with technical and management services contributing to the safe and cost-effective implementation of the One PPPO mission.

The parent company, Pro2Serve, is a nationally recognized environmental, technical, and engineering services firm dedicated to providing critical environmental management services to reduce the Nation's environmental liabilities and infrastructure engineering services in support of our Nation's security. We support the energy, defense, and science markets through responsive, cost-effective execution of critical environmental, facilities and infrastructure, and nuclear defense and nonproliferation projects.

Job Description

Under general supervision, perform graphic design, video, and photography job functions as assigned by management. The specific work assignment may include duties or activities that assist and support management in one or more of the following functional areas, in addition to other duties as assigned:

Prepare layouts, designs, artwork, and formats for use in various products.

Design, lay out, and produce artwork such as logos, graphs, charts, posters, signs, flyers, etc. that maintains the organization's brand.

Photograph and edit photos for use in various internal and external materials.

Capture and edit video, perform interviews and write scripts for use in various internal and external materials.

Assist with the development and deployment of visual media.

Respond to stakeholder feedback (written, electronic, face-to-face).

Support planning, material preparation, and execution of public and stakeholder events.

Assist with formulation and deployment of strategic, targeted communications planning.

Perform duties of general/routine-to-moderate complexity in nature.

Other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited university in a related field or five years of relevant experience

* Relevant DOE public affairs experience and or representing government interests is preferred

* Experience communicating and disseminating program information which results in an understanding of the agency's mission and activities

* Knowledge of risk communication strategies

* Strong conceptual and creative abilities

* Strong writing and editing skills for clear, coherent, and concise narratives

* Strong presentation development and oral communication skills

* Detailed knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Excel)

* Detailed knowledge and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Premiere)

* Animation graphics is a plus

* Must have strong organizational and communication skills

* Ability to work independently or in a team environment

* Exhibit a high degree of professionalism in the production of deliverables and in interactions with fellow employees and client personnel

Preferred Qualifications

* Knowledge of web design and social media applications

* Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Office and Adobe Creative Suite

Federal Government Clearance:

This position may require the ability to obtain a government clearance. This position may require reviews and test for absence of any illegal drugs along with a background investigation by the Federal government in order to obtain an access authorization prior to employment, and may require subsequent reinvestigations may be required.
