OverviewThe Graphic Designer reports to the Creative Manager and is a mid-level creative role, working in a team approach with other Designers, Marketing, Web, Social and Corporate Communications on a variety of projects and assignments. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual, with critical thinking skills who can help solve problems in a timely manner as they arise. They are experienced in maintaining processes, are a team player with a positive attitude, have a strong work ethic and can work collaboratively and independently while being able to shift gears quickly. They are skill in the Adobe creative products, print, digital, web, and experienced in participating in brainstorming and idea creation/solutions.ResponsibilitiesCreate compelling visual designs for multiple types of deliverables including but not limited to: print, digital, web, email, video and PowerPoint.Assist in the formulating concepts, themes and approaches to support the communication objectives of internal stakeholders.Work in collaboration with internal clients, to conceptualize creative initiatives.Assist and with communicating and integrating our brand strategy with other teams to deliver in line with global brand aspirations.Participates in brainstorming sessions.Beginner understanding of metrics used to drive create insights, brand performance and engagement.Support the advocacy of our brand strategy and tone of voice.Miscellaneous projects and duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Media, Marketing, Communications or related field is required - Required3 years of experience in • An in-house creative department or design firm. • Experience working with different stakeholders and setting expectations. • Strong creative, organizational, problem solving and time-management skills. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to take constructive criticism. (No big egos) • Advance knowledge in graphic production process and tools. • Work well with tight deadlines in a team environment. • Works independently on larger, moderately complex assignments. • Adaptable and quick learner. Must be able to apply style guide creatively while upholding brand identity. • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. • Understanding of HTML/CSS and video production a plus. • Possess strong conceptual skills, good sense of design, layout and typography, a broad thinker who can offer a variety of design solutions. .CompensationIn the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $56,700 - $89,100. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
