Job Description:

We're looking for a talented graphic designer to join our growing team and build our digital design and organic social offering. This requires the discipline to work solo, and the energy to collaborate in teams. You must be a confident self-starter with a competitive mindset to initiate, manage, launch and ship projects. It has huge potential for growth.

Responsibilities:

• Design and prototyping of organic social posts, ads, packaging, logos, etc
• Light animation and video editing for organic social (all platforms)
• Design multiple responsive websites
• Work directly with development and production teams
• Confidently present and share your work in internal and external meetings
• And any other assigned duties as requested

Qualifications:

Experience with:

• Creating a broad and exciting range of looks for brand ideation, quickly
• Visual identities and brand design systems
• Digital and kinetic typography
• Creating low lift animations and video editing for organic social media
• Deep knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (AI, PS, INDD, AE, etc.) and Figma
• Creating development-ready assets

Technical comprehension:

• Wordpress (or other CMS)
• Doesn't have to write code, but need to understand how it works
• CMS templating (some of the following: SiteCore, Wordpress/Drupal, something proprietary, canvas)
• Design video in Premier Pro or After Effects

The intangibles:

• Has a distinct philosophy when it comes to design and their work.
• Can present justified design characteristics in their work and process
• Has a POV on mobile-first vs desktop-first methodologies and understands desktop, tablet, and mobile breakpoints
• Knows how to push a developer to achieve his/her/their vision but also understands technical limitations and when/where to compromise
• Uses logical naming conventions within files and is comfortable conforming to established file organization structure

Added bonus if you have experience in:

• Native app design
• Conceptual understanding of Web animation (WebGL, CSS3, etc)
• Emerging tech thoughts: gaming, AR, VR, 3D animation

Education: BA Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Design or equivalent
