Graphic Designer

Planet Interactive is seeking a Graphic Designer to join an in-house agency for a well-known pharmaceutical company. As a Graphic Designer you'll join a culturally diverse group of 100+ strategic and creative explorers at an in-house advertising agency for a global biopharmaceutical company with 30+ leading brands and 48,000+ employees in 80+ countries.

  • Pay: $39-$42/hr depending on experience (W2 and option for benefits)
  • Location: Hybrid (3 days on-site) in Mettawa, IL
  • Duration: 1 year to start

Graphic Designer Responsibilities:

  • Attend meetings and set priorities with project managers to meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with creative managers, writers, and designers and create user-centric, and accessible digital and print materials within the confines of FDA regulations.
  • Update digital and print projects started by other designers or partner agencies.
  • Optimize artwork and layouts for use across digital and print projects.
  • Visualize clinical trials data and create infographics in Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Create email campaign layouts in Knak Email Builder and SalesForce Marketing Cloud Email Builder.
  • Design interactive sales aids in InDesign for the Veeva Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform.
  • Wireframe and prototype web banner ads, social media ads, and websites in Adobe XD or Figma.
  • Create digital mockups in Photoshop and color correct, retouch, and optimize images for digital and print use.
  • Understand brand guidelines and UI/UX design principles.
  • Source stock photos and video footage.

Graphic Designer Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in design, advertising, or related discipline; at least 5 years of experience developing professional digital and print materials.
  • Expertise in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD or Figma; awareness of trends in graphic design and digital and print technologies.
  • High degree of initiative to drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment; ability to absorb and respond to constructive feedback and turn projects around quickly when off course.
  • Must provide samples of work to be considered.

Graphic Designer Nice to Have:

  • Experience using Knak, SFMC and Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Pharmaceutical experience: working in a highly regulated environment.
  • Ability to work overtime when needed to complete time-sensitive projects.
