This person shall follow all requirements of the Die Cut training guide.1. Meet and follow all requirements of the Die Cut training guide2. Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures3. Understand job ticket information to determine quantity, special work instructions, and any other special customer requirements4. Determine the best manufacturing method to produce product efficiently and effectively5. Set up die cutter & tooling and operate die cutter6. Assist other operators on 2 person make-readies7. Maintain accurate counts (load and total counts)8. Set up and make-ready of die cut, score, stripping, & blanking tooling if required9. Pull stock for job-wind and jog stock if needed10. Operate powered pallet equipment as needed11. Work throughout die cutting department running equipment as needed12. Maintain high efficiency according to established rates during operation of the assigned equipment13. Maintain quality of product produced by monitoring die cutting and creasing and stripping of waste14. Troubleshoot and make decisions regarding the quality of the finished product15. Complete required quality inspections and paperwork16. Work with peers and other departments to improve quality and performance17. Play an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of the assigned press and surrounding area18. Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements19. Actively participate in lean manufacturing initiatives20.
