Job Position: Greenhouse managerJob Type: Full-TimeLocation: Mitchell, SD 57301Pay Rate: $20.00/hr.Job Summary:8:00AM-5:00PM until Finish.Description:We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Greenhouse Manager to join our dynamic team at our state-of-the-art greenhouse facility in Mitchell, SD. This role is essential in ensuring the successful operation and growth of a diverse range of plants, from ornamental flowers to high-value crops.Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of greenhouse management, including plant care, watering schedules, fertilization, pest control, and environmental conditions to ensure optimal plant growth.
• Lead and manage a team of greenhouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge to answer customer questions and provide relevant information.
• Track and manage inventory of plants, supplies, and equipment. Maintain accurate records and place orders as needed.
• Address and resolve any issues related to plant health, staff concerns, or operational challenges.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in greenhouse management or a related field.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of plant care, greenhouse operations, and sustainable practices.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in budgeting and inventory management.
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
