If you like to create great food, have a good attitude, and love being on a team, Swan Lake Resort will be a perfect fit for you. We are currently looking to add line cooks to our culinary team. This fast paced environment serves a dining space capable of approximately 140 guests at any given time and over 200 in the summer.
Job Responsibilities
* Prepare a variety of proteins, vegetables and other food items for service to our guests.
* Prepare items for grilling, sauting, or other cooking methods by portioning, battering, breading, seasoning and/or marinating.
* Master use of knives, broilers, ovens and various other kitchen equipment.
* Ensure safe and sanitary procedures are followed at all times.
* Ensure work stations and all equipment are cleaned and sanitized prior to end of shift.
* Ensure all items are dated appropriately.
* Participate in inventory activities as required.
* Other duties as assigned.
Job Skills & Qualifications
Required:
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* Able to meet physical demands such as lifting at least 50 lbs. as well as standing on your feet for up to 8 hours
Preferred:
* High school diploma or its equivalent
* Culinary school training a plus
* Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant setting
