Grinder - Career Concepts : Job Details

Grinder Responsibilities

• Operate grinding equipment to smooth, polish, and refine metal parts
• Review work orders and specifications to understand product requirements
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized grinding machinery
• Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring quality standards are met
• Perform minor maintenance on grinding equipment as needed
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
• Document completed work and report any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Familiarity with grinding machinery and various types of grinders
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform tasks that require prolonged standing, bending, and hand dexterity
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices and the ability to follow them

Benefits/Compensation

• Full Time
• Pay Rate is $11-$12 per hour
• 1st & 3rd Shift
• Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts
• Benefits available while employed through Career Concepts
• Temp-To-Hire
• Benefits after Probation period
