We have a full-time 2nd shift Grinder position open. Normal hours are Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM.

Job Summary:
Grinding of castings, forgings and weldments, using handheld grinders, in accordance with verbal and written procedures, standards and specifications.
Job Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma preferred.
Experience: Some related work experience in an industrial, mechanical, welding or machining environment is desirable. An appropriate combination of education and experience will be considered.
Skills: Ability to use handheld power grinders. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, and the ability to read/write in English. Ability to function independently with minimal supervision.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Physical and Mental Efforts:
General: Extensive mobility required, some moderate to heavy lifting. Position requires the ability to lift objects weighing more than 50 pounds occasionally; walk and stand for long durations; see objects closely; and hear normal sounds with some background noises. The position requires the ability to concentrate with some interruption and attend to tasks for 45 to 60 minutes at a time.
Environmental and Working Conditions:
Industrial shop setting. Dust, dirt, and metal debris from machining will be encountered. Moderate levels of noise will be encountered.
