Ground Test Intern - Whisper Aero : Job Details

About the RoleThe purpose of this role is to assist the ground test team in running experiments on Whisper's revolutionary electric propulsors. The candidate will design test hardware, data acquisition software, electronics, and instrumentation for ground test rigs. The candidate will also perform some functions as a data analyst using ground test data. What You'll Do Designing test hardware, data acquisition software, electronics, and instrumentation for ground test rigsPerform analysis of ground test dataCommunicate with other groups to integrate designs and frameworksPrepare and conduct design reviews Basic Qualifications US PersonPursuing a BS or MS in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related disciplineProficient with discipline-specific software: CAD (SolidWorks preferred), Python, LabView, EAGLE, OpenVSP, Julia, FORTRANExperience with projects in field of study Bonus Qualifications Experience in rapid prototyping, designing to take full advantage of 3D printing toolsDrone or model aircraft experienceExperience designing tooling, test fixtures, and ground equipmentExperience constructing, running, and validating modelsExperience designing electronic assemblies #J-18808-Ljbffr
