SUMMARY
Primary responsibility is installation, maintenance, and operation of campus irrigation systems.
LOCATION
Levelland Campus
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Computer literate.
Read and understand plans.
Knowledge of electronics, wiring, and plumbing.
Install and/or repair irrigation systems, stations, controllers, valves, and wiring.
Build forms for pouring concrete.
Pour and finish concrete.
Safely operate various types of grounds equipment. (Tractor, backhoe, mower, loader, ditcher, packer, edger, backpack blower, shovel, etc.)
On snowy or icy days reports for work at 7:00 a.m. and helps with snow and ice removal.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities except as assigned by Grounds Supervisor.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read drawings, plans, comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence,
and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out multiple step instructions which can sometimes be complicated.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Texas motor vehicle operator's license and insurability.

Qualifications
High School Diploma/ GED
Valid Texas Drivers License
2 years landscape irrigation experience
