Position Summary
Groundskeepers serve as the housekeeping and repair technicians of the hospital properties. Groundskeepers routinely mow, rake, weed, trim and collect trash in order to maintain the appearance of the facility exterior; its unofficial front door and the first contact that visitors and staff have when arriving. Additionally, the groundskeepers maintain their assigned equipment, keep current on their training, operate and maintain irrigation systems, chemically treat for insects and diseases and generally maintain the outward appearance of the facility.
Minimum Requirements
High school graduate plus one or more years documented work experience, formal training or education preferably in groundskeeping/landscaping. Must maintain a valid North Carolina driver's license.
