Group Director, Content & Engagement - Entertainment
Position: Full-Time
OVERVIEW
Movement Strategy is looking for a Group Director, Content and Engagement to oversee our Entertainment Brands (i.e. Prime Video, Bravo, Paramount+). You will report to the Head of Creative and work closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Copywriters, and Strategists.
As platform experts, the Group Director, Content & Engagement will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies that align with our business objectives and engage our target audience. This role will require excellent leadership, strategic thinking, communication, and project management skills, as well as a deep understanding of community management and marketing for entertainment and brand clients.

KEY FOCUS AREAS
- Visionary: Spearhead innovative strategies, technologies, and big ideas that prioritize social media as the central element of brand marketing campaigns.
- Team Management: Manage a team of content & engagement managers to oversee the content & engagement tract across multiple accounts while nurturing their development and growth within the company.
- Editorial Content Development: Craft differentiated plans and engagement tactics. Experience in creating and managing oversight on social media content calendars for large global brands.
- Channel Management: Launch new client channels and grow existing channels (i.e. TikTok, Discord, Twitch, and YouTube) by creating and distributing informative and entertaining content.
- Engagement Strategy: Provide value to individuals through management of content posting and strategic community interactions.
- Brand Engagement: Build community and engagement programming that speaks authentically to our audience.
- Scopes and Allocations: Manage and determine the scope of work and staffing needs across accounts.
- Case Studies & Awards: Present case studies and emerging best practices related to engagement to senior leadership.
- Creative Writing: Understand a brand's voice and provide direction to the team.
- Team Communication: Interact confidently with internal teams and clients.
- Business Development: Shape pitch narratives and deliver winning work within pitch timelines.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 10-12 years experience creating and managing social media content for brand/owned channels.
- Ability to manage high volume workload across multiple accounts.
- Unmatched attention to detail.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
- Expert knowledge of current social platforms.
- Impeccable writing and overall communication skills.
- Proven writing skills (technical and creative).
- Strong organizational skills.

COMPENSATION
Pay Range: 160k - 170k salary per year.
