Group Home R.N., Residential Fulltime 40hrs per week - Benhaven : Job Details

Benhaven is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (R.N.) to join our Residential Team. As a Group Home R.N., you will oversee 5 group homes and 1 ICF. You be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to residents with developmental disabilities and mental health conditions in a supportive and nurturing environment. Responsibilities:

• Assess the health needs of residents and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
• Monitor and report changes in residents' health status
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care
• Educate residents and staff on health-related topics
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
• Provide emotional support and advocacy for residents and their families
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

Qualifications:

• Valid CT R.N. license
• DDS (Department of Developmental Services) Experience a plus
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health conditions, preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of nursing principles and practices
• CPR and First Aid certification
