Eurofins offers a portfolio of over 200,000 analytical methods to evaluate the safety, identity, composition, authenticity, origin, traceability and purity of biological substances and products, as well as providing innovative clinical diagnostic testing services, as one of the leading global emerging players in specialised clinical diagnostics testing.In 2019, Eurofins generated total revenues of EUR € 4.56 billion, and has been among the best performing stocks in Europe over the past 20 years.Employee Responsibilities:Lead and manage scientific teamSupervise and train employeesPerform all tasks pertaining to the mentoring, progression and performance management of employeesInteract with other members of the management team and other department to ensure work is performed according to Department and Company StandardsEnsure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operationsEnsure coverage and performanceFoster morale and teamworkManage and supervise Biochemistry Method Establishment/Routine projects, from timelines to execution to communication with Project Managers and ClientsServe as a Subject Matter Expert in one or multiple Protein Analytical TechniquesReview and interpret dataWrite reports (method transfers, method validations, laboratory investigations, and SOPs)Supervise investigations and interact with Quality Assurance to efficiently and accurately complete themEnsure that the client receives quality data by reviewing laboratory data for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to GMP and/or GLP regulationss scientific data with clients, provide scientific information in client-facing cmunicationThe Ideal Candidate Would PossessStrong leadership, initiative, and team building skillsStrong project and personnel management skillsDemonstrated experience in Protein Quality Control Analytics (e.g. HPLC, CE, compendia, spectroscopy)Strong understanding of the importance of achieving turnaround time committed to clientsStrong computer, scientific, and organizational skillsExcellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitudeAbility to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policiesMinimum Qualifications:BS, MS, or PhD in Biochemistry, Chemistry or related degree fieldAt least 3 years of related work experienceAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restrictionPosition is full-time, Monday - Friday 8:00am -4:00pm.
