If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Group Manager with focus on Electronics components (such as semiconductors, actives and passives) as well as EM and ME commodities. The Group Manager manages a team of Global Supply Managers focused on EE, ME, EM commodities for our PCBAs and oversees all company business with a group of commodity suppliers. The role is a key internal interface with Engineering, Finance, Logistics, Quality and Manufacturing to deliver world class products on time and cost effectively. The Group Manager must identify, develop, and manage the global Supply Chain for their team and manage against the overall Supply Chain team and company priorities. They will help establish our global supply chain strategy, support cross-functional teams during the development and industrialization phases and drive sound business decisions throughout the product life cycle.You Will:Supply chain experience with as many electronics commodities such as Micro controllers, Memory, Sensors, Magnetics, Contactors, Passives, Connectors, PCBs, ME enclosures - PIM, MIM, Die casting, Gromets, Busbars, Harness Terminals, Wires, Antennas, etc.Manage and mentor a team of supply chain professionalsPresent upward status of objectives, strategies, and remedies to issuesCollaborate with Engineering and Supplier Quality to identify potential suppliers with the right qualifications to meet Lucid's expectations and timelineCreate RFQs, review, analyze and clarify quotations from suppliers and develop sound sourcing and business recommendations balancing cost, quality, lead-time and technical considerationsThoroughly negotiate favorable contracts including parts pricing, tooling costs and Engineering Services (NRE / EDT)Work with suppliers and Engineering to release parts into production and issue POs for Prototype/Production Parts and Prototype/Production ToolingManage supplier development and tooling timelines, part availability for prototype builds/start of production and develop solutions to delays or problems that ariseMaintain overall supplier relationships and act as point of contact for all commercial issues, including internal report-outs summarizing sourcing status, parts availability and cost statusTravel 15-25% to visit suppliers to perform business and program reviewsYou Bring:Bachelor's degree in Technical/Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance or related field. MBA or master's degree is a plusMinimum 8 years Procurement, Sourcing, Supply Chain, or Engineering experience on relevant commodityUnderstanding in key development, testing, and manufacturing processes of the commodityProduct launch experience from design concept to productionUnderstanding of quality principles, product development processes, and data analysis.Able to show teamwork to resolve problems and a thought process to drive successful solutionsExcellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Passion for results, strategy, and hands on execution.Creative, calculated risk taker with the ability to manage complex suppliers and resolve disputes while preserving relationships with suppliers and internal staffStrong written and verbal skills as well as organizational and program management capabilitiesProficient in Excel, Project, Power Point, Word, ERP systems (SAP or equivalent)Ability to mitigate unforeseen problems creatively and effectivelyOwnership and commitment to your role and supporting teams' successSalary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid's equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
