The Group Sales Representative is responsible for selling group tickets (10+) for Sabres and Bandits games, handling customer inquiries, and providing outstanding customer service for all fans. Representatives will be trained to identify the needs of customers and provide recommendations for group outings and unique fan experiences at KeyBank Center. Responsibilities:
- Maximize group ticket sales and ticket sales revenue through the outreach and weekly meetings
- The candidate will be accountable for consistently achieving or exceeding level sales metrics and weekly sales
- Prospect new group sales opportunities and collaborate with team members in developing new and enhancing existing programs
- Generate new sales through season tickets and full season equivalent (FSE) ticket packages
- Enter all pertinent group prospect and customer information in CRM platform for efficient reporting and effective pipeline management
- Work assigned sales, promotional, and team events to develop new prospects and referral opportunities during games, marketing initiatives, and supporting the youth hockey department
- Provide best-in-class customer service for all prospects and clients
Qualifications and Skills
- Superior Customer Service skills.
- Positive and enthusiastic approach to customers and contacts to convey a positive image and ability to respond to client's needs in a timely manner.
- Sales background preferred with proven track record of success.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, detail oriented, strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel. Experience with Archtics ticketing system a plus.
- Night and weekend work required including working events.
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
Compensation
- This role pays $15.50 per hour plus commission.
