Group Swim Instructor - Rush-Copley Medical Center : Job Details

Essential functions and responsibilities

* Teach swimming techniques, swimming strokes, and water safety rules to students with varying swimming abilities.

* Assisting more experienced swimmers to enhance their swimming abilities.

* Assessing the progress of students and adjusting teaching programs accordingly.

* Monitoring students to prevent accidents and injuries.

* Ensuring that the swimming pool is clean and tidy.

* It is typically expected that a swim instructor will also provide coverage as a pool attendant or lifeguard.

Job requirements

* Current Lifeguard Certification Preferred

* Current CPR/AED Certification Required

* Red Cross Aquatics Safety Training required within 30 days of hire

$15.67 - $23.63 Hourly
