You will handle Travel Advisor phone calls, chats, questions and requests such as adding inventory, releasing inventory, modifications and finalizations. You will own cases and tasks and ensure as a POD, the assigned work is being completed effectively and efficiently. You will communicate with many teams throughout the organization and with suppliers and Travel Advisors.A successful Group Service Specialist will:Truly enjoy customer service and have a strong understanding of GroupsOwn & close cases and tasks and consistently meet KPI expectationsHelp with finalization and the phone queue if team members on other pods are out or during busy seasonMonitor Room Lists, Final Countdown Letters and assign the Queue as neededStrive to grow repeat business by building customer rapport and providing outstanding serviceCollaborate with other service team members and team leaders to meet team expectations and provide suggestions for process improvementsPerform other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by leaderRequirements:High School Diploma/equivalent required2+ years of customer service experience is preferredProficiency in Microsoft Suite of tools – Excel, Word, TEAMS & PowerPointExperience utilizing CRM tools to help manage businessStrong Customer Service and problem-solving skillsGreat technology skills and detail orientedAbility to work with team members in both an office & work at home environmentMaintain focus & energy in fast-paced group environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written, oral, and interpersonal communicationAbility to travel up to 5%, Domestic or InternationalAt ALG Vacations, we call our employees Colleagues, because we are more than just employees.
