Our client, a well-funded Series A developer tools startup backed by tier 1 VCs ($5M raised, 6 years runway), is seeking a creative and data-driven Growth Marketing Manager to drive their next phase of expansion.
The Opportunity
You'll own the full marketing funnel, from content creation to lead conversion, with a particular focus on engaging developer communities through authentic, valuable content. This role combines creative storytelling with analytical rigor to build and nurture a pipeline of qualified leads from the Open Source Software (OSS) community.
What You'll Do
- Architect and execute multi-channel growth campaigns across email, social media, and community platforms
- Create compelling short-form video content for LinkedIn and Twitter that resonates with developers
- Build and optimize high-engagement Reddit strategies to connect with technical audiences
- Design automated email sequences and nurture campaigns that convert
- Drive the full funnel from content engagement to qualified meeting handoffs
- Analyze performance metrics and continuously optimize conversion rates
- Collaborate directly with the executive team on strategic initiatives
What We're Looking For
- 2-5 years of growth marketing experience at early-stage startups, specifically in B2B DevTools
- Track record at companies similar to PostHog, Modal, or Amplitude
- Proven ability to create engaging technical content across multiple formats
- Experience with email marketing automation and funnel optimization
- Strong understanding of developer communities and OSS ecosystem
- Data-driven approach to content strategy and campaign optimization
- Expert-level knowledge of Reddit marketing and community engagement
Ideal Background
- Previously led growth initiatives at a Series A dev tools startup
- Demonstrated success in video content creation for technical audiences
- Experience optimizing B2B sales funnels with measurable results
- Deep familiarity with developer tools and OSS communities
The Package
- Competitive base salary: $80,000 - $130,000
- Equity: 0.2%
