In return, we offer opportunities for career growth and advancement.**Employee Benefits**Kana Hotel Group is proud to offer the following benefits:- Medical- Vision- Dental- 401K- Immediate pay (earned wage access)- Vacation time- Sick time- Holiday pay- Bonus opportunities- Brand-specific employee discounts- Long-term and short-term disability- Life insurance**Primary Responsibilities**- Greet guests and manage check-in/check-out procedures.- Follow all cash and credit card procedures as per hotel and brand standards.- Check the house count to determine room availability for the day.- Review the credit limit exception report and obtain additional approval if necessary.- Check expected departures for the day and process checkouts or extend stays as needed.- Update housekeeping room status as received from the housekeeping department.- Balance departmental transactions using the daily activity report at the end of your shift.- Perform cashier shift changes when cash balances.- Explain hotel promotional items to guests during check-in and provide them upon request.- Inform guests about various hotel amenities (e.g., free breakfast, spa, fitness center, voicemail) during phone or in-person conversations.- Respond promptly to guest inquiries or complaints; offer alternative solutions if requests cannot be met.- Demonstrate a commitment to guest service by being hospitable and accommodating.- Document any guest accidents by completing the accident report form.- Exhibit the ability and flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.**Education and Experience Requirements**- High school diploma or GED preferred.- One year of hospitality experience required.- Customer service experience required.- Experience handling cash and credit card transactions.- Strong attention to detail.- Knowledge of hotel layout, amenities offered, and standard operating procedures.- Familiarity with the local geographical area, including businesses, services, major highways/streets, and community events and attractions.**Equal Employment Opportunity Statement**Our company provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment.
