Job Overview:

As a Guest Service Agent at Dartcor Food Services, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all guests, clients, and employees. Located in Stamford, CT, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional service with a focus on hotellerie conciergerie—a luxury hospitality approach—while managing the operational needs of the office. Whether you are greeting visitors, assisting with inquiries, or providing administrative support, your professionalism and savoir-faire will leave a lasting impression. You will act as the first point of contact for guests, clients, and employees, ensuring a professional and friendly atmosphere. This role requires a passion for customer service, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

What You'll Do:

Guest Services:

  • Greet visitors, clients, and employees with a friendly, professional, and welcoming demeanor, ensuring a luxury hospitality experience.
  • Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate individuals or departments, providing seamless service in a corporate workforce environment.
  • Provide detailed information about the office, services, and general inquiries with confidence and clarity.
  • Ensure the reception area maintains a professional, clean, and inviting appearance, offering guests a warm and luxurious first impression of Dartcor Food Services.
  • Use your savoir-faire to anticipate and fulfill guests' needs promptly and professionally, embodying the best in high-end service standards.

Office & Facility Support:

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized office environment with attention to detail.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and cleaning staff to address facility-related issues promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee and manage office supplies inventory, ensuring timely replenishment and proper organization.
  • Assist in maintaining and preparing conference rooms and event spaces for meetings and events, coordinating with IT and kitchen staff as needed.
  • Partner with the Facilities Director to manage communications related to the facility and assist with administrative tasks, always with a professional touch.

Mailroom & Administrative Support:

  • Assist with sorting and distributing incoming mail and packages.
  • Handle outgoing mail and coordinate with courier services.
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Provide backup support for reception duties when needed, ensuring that guests are greeted and calls are answered with savoir-faire.

What We Need From You:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in customer service, office management, or hospitality-related fields are a plus.
  • Proven experience in guest services or a similar role, ideally with a background in luxury hospitality or hotellerie conciergerie.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees, vendors, and visitors at all levels.
  • Proficient in using office software (e.g., MS Office Suite) and general office equipment.
  • A proactive approach with problem-solving abilities and an ability to handle challenges with savoir-faire.
  • High degree of professionalism and the ability to exercise sound judgment in various situations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain a clean, welcoming environment.

Schedule Requirement:

The Guest Service Agent is required to be on-site Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm.
