**Guest Services Agent - Telecom (Napa, CA)**

**Role Summary**

**The PBX Operators primary responsibility is to provide prompt, courteous and efficient handling of all incoming calls for in house guests and prospective clients. The PBX Operator is also responsible for handling all guest requests including in-room dining, housekeeping, spa and engineering, mediating calls and requests to the necessary department while meeting Stanly Ranch standards.**

**Core Responsibilities**

**The key responsibilities for this position are:**

* **Maintain complete knowledge and comply with all resort and departmental policies and procedures.**

* **Maintain complete knowledge of:**

- **All resort facilities/services/hours of operation;**

- **Entertainment/special events scheduled in resort;**

- **Guest functions taking place, including guest names, location of events.**

- **Computer and manual systems**

* **Answer telephone calls within three rings, using correct salutations and telephone etiquette.**

* **Handle all incoming guest requests and ensure they are completed in a timely manner.**

* **Maintain knowledge of multiple software systems ensuring prompt handling of guest and department needs.**

* **Fully knowledgeable with in-room dining procedures and menus. .**

* **Thoroughly understand safety procedures and have on hand phone numbers to the Police, Fire and Telephone Repair departments.**

* **Maintain familiarity of all key resort personnel, owners, partners and key positions of all Auberge Resorts**

* **Assist in front office operations as assigned.**

**Qualifications**

* **Great communication skills**

* **Confidence and ability to perform under pressure**

* **Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs**

* **Minimum of two years as a Front Office leader for a luxury hotel**

* **Degree or Certification in Hospitality preferred**

* **Degree or Certification in Hospitality**

* **Knowledge of Opera and Alice (Preferred)**

* **Strong knowledge about the Valley and surroundings**

* **Naturally warm, friendly and caring personality**

* **Must be fluent in oral and written English, Spanish is a plus**
