Description: Provide professional and exemplary customer service to all guests in adherence with Wollman Rink policies, rules and regulations to ensure a safe and world class environment.Requirements:Responsible for greeting guests properly in various locations of the facility, directing them to desired locations, and ensuring proper crowd flowCheck in clients for skating lessonsRelay messages to coaches and back-office staffProvide World-Class service to all guests, vendors, and employees at all timesDevelop and maintain positive working relationships with all team membersAnticipate and respond professionally to guests' needs, concerns and questionsLearn all Wollman Rink policies, procedures, locations, and event specific information providedProvide guests with friendly, accurate directionsMonitor assigned areas to identify issues, report and notify appropriate personnel, and ensure compliance with facilities policies, cleanliness, and safetyAdhere to all Company policies and procedures, including uniform and appearance guidelinesWork well with others, assist teammates, and perform and complete a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another, without the loss of efficiency or composure within Guest Services guidelinesAs necessary, handle tough, high-pressure situations while remaining calm and professionalWork in skate shop, assisting customers with sales and operating Point of Sale system; handling cash and credit card sales.Assist skaters in preparing for their lessons, including tying skates, helping with hockey equipment (training will be provided)Complete other duties as assigned by managersMay work in cooler or warmer temperatures; indoors or outside, and involve standing for 6-8 hoursEducational Background RequiredPrevious hospitality experience preferredKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesExemplary customer service skillsAbility to stay calm under pressureOutgoing and positive; you seek solutions vs focusing on problemsAbility to actively engage with guestsWork EnvironmentThis position may work indoors or outdoors in inclement weather.
