TITLE: HALL MONITOR - 4 hours per day

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High school diploma

* Minimum experience as determined by the board

* Demonstrates human relations skills, especially in working with students and staff.

* Good oral and written communication skills

* Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status

* Must complete HIB training within a short period of beginning as Hall Monitor

* Current residency in New Jersey, approved residency waiver, or candidate agrees to obtain residency within one year of employment.

Building principal or designee

SUPERVISES:

Non-supervisory

JOB GOAL:

To promote the safety and welfare of students and assist in maintaining a positive school environment for all visitors to the school.
