Hardware Technician - VOLT : Job Details

Direct Hire Electronics/Hardware Technician located in Morton ILAs an Electronics/Hardware Technician, you will:Support product development and sustaining engineering activities. This involves test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of electronic products and prototypes.Technicians work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions.Performs operational test and troubleshooting or fault isolation on systems and equipment.Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctionsAssists in the design, construction, test and check-out of test equipmentUses manufacturing, test, development, or diagnostic equipment, including, but not limited to, test programs oscilloscopes, signal generators, thermal chambers and specialized test apparatus.Identifies, researches and implements quality and process improvement ideas in primary work area.This is a Full time opportunity.The ideal candidate will have:Associates degree, or equivalent knowledge.Electronic Technician certification or comparable certification3+ years of related engineering products development lab experience. Less experience will be considered for candidates with recent degrees.Proficient using lab test equip- oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, multimeters, environmental test chambers, etc.Soldering/surface mt technology down to component levelValidation test exp. - include Environmental tests, Electrical Noise tests, Certification tests and Functional testsTeam player with communication skill to interact with Clients and co-workersFamiliarity with Python and/or electrical standards (CE, eMark) a plusSalary: $55,000.00 - $87,000.00 per year*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
