Job Description SummaryDefines and develops test cases in accordance with product test plans. Implement the test cases either as manual procedures or automated tests. Designs, develops and modifies automated product test suites to meet company release objectives.Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities:Assist in the development of new engineering Test Plans specific to HardwareProvide input and review of existing Product Hardware Test PlansExpand defined Product Test Plans into comprehensive test casesPerform defined test cases either manually or by automation to validate against specific product requirementsAcquire an expert level understanding of GE Vernova CIC RF Product linesRead and fully understand documentation and engineering specifications that are public, private and/or provided by customers.Create and configure test environments, including but not limited to LabVIEW, Test STAND, Robot Framework.Perform tests and experiments to validate and/or recreate customer reported issuesReport Product defects as discovered into Jira DatabaseUtilize Jira system to track work activitiesDocument Test cases and manual test procedures using JiraDevelop and maintain specific product automated test suitesDevelop test suites within RobotFrameworkMaintain existing Automation developed previously in LabVIEWAbility to develop new test automation including but not limited to LabVIEWExecute all tests developed (manual and automated) and report results in JiraMaintain the lab environment for the engineering organization including equipment calibrations and repairsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience/trainingMinimum of 3 years engineering experience.Desired Characteristics:Ability to work in a team and as an individual.Ability to prioritize work and be responsible for multiple projects at the same time.Solid understanding of engineering technical issues as related to test development.Solid understanding of RF communications and networkingStrong background with LabVIEW and Robot Framework automations.Strong background in Manual Hardware Testing.Sit/Stand/Walk 8 hours/dayThis is an in-person position, candidates must be willing to work onsite in Lab environment 5 days per week.The base pay range for this position is 85,600.00 - 114,100.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 10% variable incentive bonus and is eligible for compensation time.
