Hartford Sales Associate - Solomon Page : Job Details

Our client, a well known company in the entertainment industry, is seeking a temporary Merchandise Coordinator to join their team in Hartford, CT! If you are enthusiastic about helping customers find just the right gift or seeing eyes light up at the sight of their favorite character (s) this could be a great fit for you! • Dress code: Black shoes, pants with client providing company shirt.
• Pay rate: $17 per hour
• The show runs from 11/12/2024-12/1/2024
• Interview process will be an interview with recruiter; with a follow-up recorded video interview answering 3 questions

Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests, answering questions and directing them to merchandise.
• Manage accurate cashiering duties (entering prices, making change, and bagging merchandise.
• Replenish and organize products to create visually appealing displays.
• Ensure pricing is clearly visible to guests.
• Lift and unpack boxes up to 40lbs.
• Successfully complete mandatory training

Required Qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age with High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Able to pick up and apply training while taking feedback in a positive manner.
• Basic math skills.
• Friendly, professional communication skills
• Passion for interacting with Guests of all ages.
• Ability to work in a team environment while managing tasks within demanding environments.
• Able to speak and interact with all ages and backgrounds of clientele.
• Must be able to stand for multiple hours and lift boxes up to 40lbs.
• Retail/Service experience preferred but not essential.
