HCOT - Occupational Therapist - Tandym Group : Job Details

A health services network in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) for a great opportunity with their growing program in Manhattan.About the Opportunity:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Assignment Length: Ongoing
• Setting: School
• Schedule: fulltime or parttime (M-F)
• Hours: 8:30am to 2pm
• Patient Population: Ages 3 to 5

Responsibilities:The Occupational Therapist (OT) will be responsible for:

• Helping with strengthening, toning and handwriting
• Working on stair climbing and sensory integration issues
• Working on having in seat activities, such as sitting and working on puzzles
• Helping with depth perception
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience
• Bachelor's Degree
• NYS Occupational Therapist (OT) license
• CPR certification
• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized

Desired Skills:

• Experience working with the Pediatric population
