Position: High School Girls Tennis Coach

Season Duration: March 2025 - June 2025

Location: Housatonic Valley Regional High School

Compensation: $3,749 for the season (no additional benefits)

Overview:

Regional School District No. 1 is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Girls Tennis Coach to lead our high school team for the 2024-2025 season. The ideal candidate will inspire, motivate, and guide student-athletes, fostering both skill development and sportsmanship in a positive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan, organize, and conduct practices, games, and team activities

* Develop and implement strategies to enhance players' skills and team performance

* Promote teamwork, dedication, and good sportsmanship on and off the court

* Ensure the safety and well-being of all student-athletes

Qualifications:

* CPR and First Aid Certification

* Completed Concussion Training

* Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness Program Completion

* 5-Year Coaching Permit or Emergency Coaching Permit

* Fingerprinting and DCF Background Check

* High School Diploma

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to actively move around the court, demonstrating drills and coaching from the sidelines

* Endurance to remain on your feet for extended periods during practices and games

* Occasional lifting of equipment up to 30 pounds

* Clear communication and ability to project voice across the court
