- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience at the high school level in motivating and developing a championship level program
- This position may include teaching responsibilities

- Demonstrate a visible commitment to student athletes, community, and instructional leadership while promoting positive character and school spirit
- Have experience and innovative ideas in and out of season (in compliance with SC High School League regulations) regarding the basketball program
- Demonstrate the ability to motivate, relate, work with, and maximize the individual potential of high school students on and off the court
- Demonstrate high energy and be able to work well with others
- Be able to work with and follow the instruction, culture, duties, and responsibilities given by the Head Varsity Basketball Coach
- Performs other duties as assigned
