As the Head of Analytics & Insights, reporting to the SVP, you will lead our efforts to transform complex data into actionable insights that are easy to understand. You will play a pivotal role in driving our organization's short- and long-term strategic decisions by delivering analytical solutions. Your analytical acumen will underpin crucial decision-making processes and be pivotal in driving our organization's growth.

- Collaborate with the SVP, the executive leadership [ELT], and the Business Intelligence Manager to translate complex data into simplified reporting.
- Craft compelling stories from data that highlight key business opportunities and challenges, providing the SVP and ELT with clear, actionable insights.
- Partner with the Business Intelligence Manager to design and implement robust data analytics systems and predictive models that support strategic initiatives and business growth.
- Be hands-on and create draft reports and analytics using Power BI, SQL, Excel, SPSS and any other relevant tools prior to working with Business Intelligence team to operationalize the reporting.
- Automate reporting for weekly and monthly updates required by the Financial Planning and Analysis team for transparent view of business performance and risk factors.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Work closely with various teams across the organization to ensure strategies are well-aligned with overall business objectives based on data. Champion the integration of data-driven decision-making within the across all divisions.
- Adhere to legal and ethical standards concerning data privacy, including GDPR and CCPA, especially in handling customer information.
- Establish and maintain policies regarding data accuracy, accessibility, consistency, and completeness to ensure reliable data management practices.

Education/Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or higher is preferred.
- Certifications like Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), Google Analytics IQ, or others related to specific tools or methodologies used in analytics are a plus.
Experience Required:
- 7-10 years in analytics or a related field, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or leadership role overseeing analytics teams.
- Strong expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, predictive analytics, and data interpretation.
- Strong expertise in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data-mining techniques.
- Experience working in e-commerce, strongly preferred.
- Experience leading and developing a team of analysts or data scientists, preferred.
- Proficient in analytical tools and software (e.g., R, Python, SQL, Tableau, SAS).
- Strong foundation in statistical tests, distributions, maximum likelihood estimators, etc.
- Experience in the marketing domain, understanding of market dynamics, customer behavior analytics, campaign analysis, etc. particularly in reference to e-commerce businesses.
- Proven track record of managing analytics projects from conception through execution, including defining KPIs and ROI analysis.
