Head of BD (B2B/B2C), North America

Key Responsibilities:

Business Strategy Development

  • Lead and implement business development strategies for the North American education market, with a focus on the K-12 segment.
  • Analyze and address local market trends and customer behaviors to create growth strategies aligned with global objectives.

Client Acquisition and Relationship Management

  • Identify, negotiate, and establish partnerships with educational institutions, schools, corporate clients, and community organizations.
  • Build and sustain long-term client relationships to expand the company's reach and network.

B2B and B2C Sales Leadership:

  • Lead B2B and B2C sales efforts, leveraging experience to effectively target diverse customer bases.
  • Design and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals while aligning with market trends and customer expectations.

Team Building and Leadership

  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing, metrics-driven sales and business development team.
  • Define and monitor performance goals, fostering a data-driven and results-oriented work culture.

Market Analysis and Competitive Research:

  • Conduct detailed market research to identify trends, competitive dynamics, and opportunities for growth in the K-12 education sector.
  • Apply data-driven insights to enhance strategies and achieve measurable business outcomes.

Cross-Cultural Communication and Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet the needs of the North American market.
  • Navigate domestic and international work environments effectively, ensuring alignment across teams and regions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, with experience in both B2B and B2C sales.
  • Experience in the education sector and familiarity with the North American K-12 market is a plus.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate diverse teams using metrics-focused, goal-oriented management approaches.
  • Exceptional cross-cultural communication skills and ability to navigate domestic and international work settings.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
