Head of Compliance Program Management - JCW : Job Details

Our client is seeking an experienced Head of Compliance Program Management, this role will be reporting to the Head of Compliance, this leader will drive key program components, overseeing policy, governance, and reporting frameworks and managing the Compliance Program Operations team.

This hybrid role requires three days per week on-site in New York.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance a comprehensive CMS program aligned with company goals.
• Oversee compliance program design, policies, and practices, setting strategic direction.
• Lead a compliance team, managing hiring, development, and performance.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to address complex compliance issues.
• Align program objectives with broader compliance strategy and risk appetite.
• Engage with regulatory bodies, handle inquiries, and manage regulatory assessments.
• Partner with first-line teams for compliance guidance and proactive support.
• Foster a collaborative culture of compliance, working with Legal and other functions.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred. Experience in compliance or a control function in financial services or a regulatory organization.
• Strong knowledge of fintech, credit products, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven experience leading diverse teams in complex environments.
• Skilled communicator and relationship manager with effective influence at senior levels.
• Experience with U.S. regulators and ability to drive change effectively.

Compensation

Base salary for NY/NJ/CA: $180,000 - $200,000, commensurate with experience.
